  | **De-identification**      | Removing or obscuring identifiers so data can no longer reasonably identify a person. Suki applies de-identification practices to training-oriented transcripts and related assets while keeping production documentation workflows HIPAA-aware. |
  | **Diagnosis**              | The clinician's determination of a patient's condition or disease. In interoperability workflows, diagnoses are often encoded with ICD10 or SNOMED so EHR, analytics, and billing systems share the same meaning.                                |
  | **Diagnosis Context**      | Structured diagnosis metadata (code, code type, and description) you pass in ambient session context. Suki uses it to improve problem-oriented note generation and keep generated content aligned with known problems.                           |
  | **Dictation**              | Speaking content that should become text, typically a clinician monologue. In Suki, Dictation workflows focus on real-time transcription, which is separate from full ambient note generation from multi-party visits.                           |
  | **Differential Diagnosis** | A working list of possible conditions that could explain the patient's symptoms while the clinician narrows toward a final diagnosis. It is a clinical reasoning concept that can appear in assessment-style documentation.                      |
