The Suki Cookbook plugin adds short integration recipes to your AI coding agent. Each recipe points at a published Cookbook page, so the agent can apply one focused pattern in your project, such as sharing emr_encounter_id across products, verifying webhook HMAC signatures, or wiring Dictation onSubmit into a chart field. Install the plugin once in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Antigravity, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot, Grok, Kimi Code, or omp. You may need to update plugins after a new release.
  • It does not replace Agent skills, which cover full product workflows, or the Documentation MCP, which the agent uses to look up exact fields and pages while it works.
  • Obtain credentials through Partner onboarding before you run generated code against Suki APIs.

Why use the plugin

Plugins for AI coding agents are packages of agent extensions. A single plugin can bundle any combination of MCP servers, skills, hooks, specialized sub-agents, and slash commands. The Suki Cookbook plugin ships cookbook recipes as installable skills with slash commands, so you set up the recipes in one step instead of pasting long prompts into every chat. Install it once for your agent, then invoke /cookbook:{recipe-id} when you need that pattern. You can still install Agent skills and the Documentation MCP separately when you need a full product workflow or live page lookup.

What’s included

Cookbook recipes

Each published cookbook becomes a skill the agent can load on demand. The skill carries the recipe prerequisites, solution steps, and links back to the matching Cookbook page so the agent can apply the pattern in your repository.

Slash commands

After install, invoke a recipe with /cookbook:{recipe-id} (for example /cookbook:pass-emr-encounter-id). Some agents use a different form, so check the install steps for your agent below. On any cookbook page, Run This Recipe copies the install and invoke steps for that recipe.

What you still install separately

  • Agent skills - Full product and SDK workflows (call sequence, environment setup, and accuracy rules).
  • Documentation MCP - Live search of cookbook guides and related API or SDK pages while the agent implements a recipe.

Install the plugin

Choose your AI coding agent, then install the Cookbook plugin from suki-developer/suki-agent-plugins. Some agents add the repository as a marketplace first, and others install straight from the repository URL.

How this fits with skills and MCP

Each tool serves a distinct purpose in the agent workflow:
  • Agent skills guide the agent through a product or SDK workflow, including the correct call sequence, environment setup, and rules for accurate implementation.
  • Cookbook plugin provides task-specific recipes from Cookbooks, with prerequisites and solutions the agent can apply directly in your repository.
  • Documentation MCP gives the agent access to cookbook guides and related API or SDK references while implementing a recipe.
  • Integration prompts define the goal, staging requirements, and completion criteria for a larger integration task.
You can install the Cookbook plugin on its own when you only need one recipe.
For a full product integration, install the matching agent skill, connect the Documentation MCP, and start from an Integration prompt so the agent marks anything not in the docs as BLOCKED instead of inventing endpoints or fields.
